Re: Why different results of 'ping www.google.com' on three different CentOS VMware machines (1 works, 2 say 'ping: host unreachable')?

By the way, I've now gone into VMware Workstation and assigned different MAC addresses (under NAT settings, Advanced) to each CentOS machine. Plus, I edited vmnetdhcp.conf and added entries for each machine (hardware Ethernet <mac-address>; fixed address <ip-address>). At least the second machine comes up now with eth1 (before they were all using eth0, and I had to create separate ifcfg-eth0:0, ifcfg-eth0:1 and ifcfg-eth0:2 under /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts). But the third machine now can't bring up eth0; upon running "service network restart", it says 'device eth0 does not seem to be present', [FAILED]; & for eth1 it says, "Error, some other host already uses address 196.168.81.5".  So did I miss something in the file vmnetdhcp.conf"? Is there a way to add eth2? Or is there some other configuration in VMware I can make??
