This is my first time posting so forgive me if the question was posted to an incorrect forum.
I have been trying to manually balance the loads of my VMs between my 2 hosts (for example host1 and host2) of my hosts cluster. Initially, there are 2 port groups in my environment (for example, pg1 and pg2) and most of the VMs are connected to host1 and pg1.
However, when I migrate a VM from host1 to host2, the VM eventually loses connection to everything as if it was disconnected from the network. The only way I can get its connection would be edit the VMs settings and changed its network to pg2.
If anyone has some ideas on the reason behind this, I would be very interested to know.
Unfortunately I am not strong with the networking aspect of all this and I wasn't available when our VM environment was configured and steup.
