I have a problem. I have a system with vmware not made by me but now i have to take control of it and make backups of machines. I want to buy vsphere essentials and veeam essentials.

Today i have read this:

Virtual Hardware

• Virtual machines with disks engaged in SCSI bus sharing are not supported, because VMware does not support snapshotting such VMs.

• RDM virtual disks in physical mode, Independent disks and disks connected via in-guest iSCSI initiator are not supported and are skipped from processing automatically.

Where can I find this informations? I mean where can i see in vsphere client if i am in this situation? Is there something a place where i can clearly find  if my system is in this situation? I have gone under Configuration, Storage Adapters and there is written:

Broadcom iSCSI Adapter

vmhba32 iSCSI

Does it mean i am damned?
