Re: VMmark latest edition applied

Hi, there are a few things to address here:

1)

Virtualclient2 is still producing the error "'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

On your virtualclient2, please verify that:

1. You installed the correct version of STAF for your client0 operating system (Did you install 32 bit staf on a 64 bit operating system?)

and

2. That you installed the correct version of Java on client0 (correct bitness) and that you set the environment variable JAVA_HOME correctly. See instructions "Install a Java JRE" in the benchmarking guide.

To double check Java installation, open a command prompt and run java -version.

2)

Make sure that there are no extra VMs "deployvm1" "DeployTemplate1" already in your cluster. There should be the deploy template (as a template), but no deploy VMs.

3)

It looks like you copied and pasted the same hosts file across all your VMmark VMs. However, in all of the Web VMs' hosts files, there are messages like:

# Change this to the IP of OlioDBn DO NOT change the hostname

192.168.1.32    olio-db

So in your OlioWeb hosts file, you need to include IP alias "olio-db" which is that VM's database.

In your DS2Web hosts file, you need to include IP alias "DS2-DB" which maps to that VM's database.

For an example, deploy a new OlioWeb or OlioDB VM from the template and look at its hosts file.

Thanks,

Rebecca
