If you're using VMware Fusion 5.0.3 then why are you posting in the VMware Fusion Technology Preview 2013 forum and not the VMware Fusion® (for Mac) forum where you should be?

As far as the Boot Camp issue, VMware Fusion 5.0.3 does not currently support the Boot Camp partition run as a Virtual Machine on the new MacBook Air 2013 and VMware Developers are aware of the issue and are working on it.  Also before you ask when the issue will be resolved read VMware Fusion 5 doesn't see a bootcamp partition on a new Macbook Air 2013 (Haswell)!
