Hey there I am new to vmware and would like to learn about it. I install windows xp sp3 and it runs flawlessly, until i power off/suspend/reset or shut vmware down. The program 'usually' works 100% with no problems, unfortunately i have to do a clean install of xp3 and all my software i install if I dare shut down vmware, suspend it, power off the virtual machine, or just plain mess with it in any which way or form it will crash the graphics causing 10-20 second lag spikes in graphics. Again, these are non-existent unless i suspend/reset/power off the machine but I have no choice but to do that sometimes as I cannot keep my computer on for a year. I've seen similar posts about this but wasn't able to find a fix if anyone can help. I like vmware but having to re-install it every time i don't want to use it is extremely inconvenient.
Does anyone have ANY info on this? How can something work fine until you restart it. I love this program but it's impossible to use if you have to re-install it everytime you reboot your computer or exit the program!
