i have fusion 5. on os x. have a few vms. one of them is centos with a 100gig Virtual Disk-flat.vmdk. i need to reclaim 90% of it. the cent os system shows that "99 GB" are "Free". not partitioned....

Pre-allocated disks cannot be shrunk by the VMware Fusion UI or vmware-vdiskmanager! You have to uncheck "Pre-allocate disk space" under "Advanced options" in the Hard Disk Settings first.
